best over the counter acne treatment?
i am a 20 year old female that has tried everything in the book, plus some, to get rid of my acne. i have been using proactive for years with no outstanding results. every time i drift away from proactive, my face will be clear for a short amount of time, and then i’ll wake up looking like pizza face again, which would force me to go back on proactive just to maintain a decent look. now i know diet can affect acne, but i do for the most part stay away from oils and fats, and i very rarely eat many sweets. i also know the type of makeup used can affect it as well, hence why i’ve been using bare minerals for quite some time. i don’t want to use proactive anymore because it is expensive, and all it does is dry out my face and stain my pillow cases. please help! i’m desperate!
